TAKING MORE THAN JUST A TUMBLE
To simulate the bumps, drops, and rough handling of real-world travel, every Samsonite suitcase undergoes a rigorous tumble test. In our lab, each case is placed in a large rotating drum and tumbled at least 50 times.
Only the cases that emerge fully functional and flawless pass the test!
MADE FOR LONGER DISTANCE
In our lab, we put our wheels through a full 32-kilometer journey on track with bumps to replicates the demands of real-world travel, from smooth terminals to rough pavements, ensuring it rolls effortlessly, trip after trip.
TUGGING AT EXCELLENCE
Using a precision spring mechanism, we lift and jerk each top and side handle 3,000 times—replicating the wear and tear of countless airport dashes, baggage claims, and overhead bin lifts. If it doesn't hold up, it doesn't make it out of testing.
COLD? IT CAN HANDLE IT
We test our suitcases in temperatures as low as -12°C to make sure the shell stays strong—even in the harshest winter conditions so your luggage won’t crack under pressure.
TOUGH TO TAKE THE DROP
The drop test put Samsonite suitcase through 750 impact cycles, adding extra weight to mimic heavy packing and unpredictable terrain. It’s extreme testing for gear designed to go the distance.
