Warranty

Warranty Terms And Conditions

The warranty provided for herein applies only to the first purchaser or gift recipient of the product.

  • The duration of the warranty is specified on the warranty card included with the product or in the list of product features on our website.

  • This warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear, or transport damage (such as airline handling).

  • For any warranty repairs, customer must visit an authorized Samsonite “Service Centre”.

  • Repairs performed by anyone other than an authorized repair agent will void the warranty.

  • The warranty is global, so the product can be repaired at any Samsonite Service Centre worldwide.

  • Customer is responsible for all costs associated with delivering the product to the service centre, including packaging, shipping, and applicable taxes.

  • To request warranty service, customer must provide the completed warranty certificate or the original purchase receipt. The receipt must be from an official Samsonite retail store or an authorized dealer.

  • The service centre will determine whether the issue is covered by Samsonite's warranty. If it is, customer will be informed whether the product will be repaired or replaced, with all repair or replacement costs.

  • If the product is no longer available for replacement, Samsonite will substitute a comparable Samsonite product.

  • The warranty is limited to the value of the product, and manufacturing specifications are subject to change without prior notice.

  • Product locks are intended to prevent accidental opening but cannot guarantee protection against theft, breakage, or entry by airline or airport personnel or governmental authorities. It is recommended to inspect the product immediately upon receiving it from anyone other than yourself.

  • If the product is damaged in transit, submit a claim to the transit company (which is insured against damaging the product) at the place of arrival, if possible, before clearing customs.
